MPI is a group of professionals with experience in the construction and energy sectors, with specific focus on contractual and commercial management.
Our principals have extensive experience in engineering, construction and financial management, when combined lends itself to management and oversight of any project.
Our team is comprised of young professionals who are determined to excel in their career path. Working with MPI also provides them training and access to expertise that aids in their development.
In developing local human resources, MPI is also committed to future growth and development of the regions we operate in.
Aaron is our claims and contract specialist, he is an Oxford trained expert in both Programme and Contract Management. Currently he lectures at the University of the West Indies (St Augustine), where he facilitates courses in Project and Construction Management in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He previously served in several senior technical and leadership roles executing civil engineering projects, specializing in infrastructure development projects.
He obtained a First-Class Honours in Civil Engineering and a M.SC. Construction Engineering and Management from the University of the West Indies, a M.SC. in Major Programme Management at University of Oxford and a MBA in General Management from Heriot- Watt University.
He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Project Management Professional (PMP-PMI), Health and Safety Professional (NEBOSH and OSHA certified), Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM- University of Stanford).
Joanna is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is has a Master of Business Administration from Herriot-Watt University. She has held upper management roles in the construction, marine and energy sectors, with more than 25 years working experience with multinationals, such as, Methanex, Shell, BP & Mittal Steel.
Her most recent experience is as the General Manager of a civil construction, port & marine company located in Trinidad. Her extensive experience in commercial contract negotiations in the energy sector can be leveraged in most environments, to understand the most beneficial structure of contracts for clients. In addition, her strengths in financial modelling lend an additional perspective in reviewing and assessing projects.
